Diana DiZoglio - Massachusetts State Auditor


Diana DiZoglio, the 23rd State Auditor of Massachusetts and one of the Commonwealth’s most outspoken voices for government transparency and accountability. Born and raised in Methuen to a single mother, DiZoglio often speaks about growing up in a working-class family and how those experiences shaped her approach to public service and advocacy for everyday people.


She attended Middlesex Community College before earning her degree from Wellesley College. Before entering politics, she worked a variety of jobs and became involved in local organizing and constituent advocacy, building a reputation as a determined and independent voice.


DiZoglio first served in the Massachusetts House of Representatives before being elected to the Massachusetts Senate, representing communities across Essex County. In 2022, she was elected State Auditor, becoming known statewide for her direct, no-nonsense approach to oversight, accountability, and transparency in government.


Her office conducts audits, investigations, and reviews aimed at improving government performance and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent responsibly. From challenging Beacon Hill leadership to pushing for greater public accountability, DiZoglio has become one of the most talked-about political figures in Massachusetts today.
