Jimmy Romans is a cannabis clemency recipient, advocate for criminal justice reform, and returning citizen whose story has become part of the growing national conversation surrounding nonviolent cannabis incarceration and second chances.

After serving decades in federal prison under a life sentence tied to a nonviolent cannabis case, Jimmy was granted clemency by President Donald J. Trump following years of advocacy efforts led by his family, supporters, clemency reform organizations, and criminal justice reform advocate Alice Marie Johnson.

Today, Jimmy has dedicated himself to rebuilding his life, supporting his family, and speaking out on behalf of individuals who remain incarcerated for nonviolent cannabis-related offenses. Through advocacy work, public appearances, and media platforms, he hopes to raise awareness about sentencing reform, clemency, rehabilitation, and the importance of giving deserving individuals an opportunity to return home and positively contribute to society.
